My brother has received a ton of them. Does anyone know how to find
out exactly who is doing it? Thanks.

Please reply to newsgroup.

NO.

Probably more than one entity. Probably not in the US. They may never be
caught, and will stop when they achieve "satisfaction," or boredom,
whichever comes first. As we speak, they are salivating over the news items
about them and their "new" virus.

As always, it's extremely difficult to find this out. Sometimes
organizations like the FBI succeed, but not always.

Get Mailwasher or some other Email scanning program that down loads the
mail header BUT LEAVES the mail on the Mail Server. This allows you to
scan Email before it gets to your system and you have the virus.

try going on google and looking up bear32 for virus,or
try sysmatic's website for the virus. it may have copied
your email address and passwords and if u have a self
addressed email to yourself u may have been the one who
spread the virus.

What are the properties of these messages? Do they appear to come from
Microsoft when checking all properties?

Greetings --

No, a quick view of the real headers betrays the true nature of
these messages. Unfortunately, most people haven't bothered to learn
how to see, much less understand, the headers.
