Boggling error message

Hi, I get 2 confusing error messages at reboot. One says - Windows cannot
find ' '. Make sure you type the name correctly. The other says -
Desktop: Could not load or run ' ' specified in the registry. Make sure
the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the
registry. There are just blanks between the quotation marks. How can I
rectify this? Thank you.

There is an entry in the registry for something to start with Windows,
but the associated program isn't there. Perhaps the entry is left over
from a clean up by an antivirus program and/or a spyware removal tool.
Go to Start>Run and type "msconfig" without the quotes. Look on the
Startup tab and uncheck anything unnecessary and/or blank. If you need

And just in case you haven't been doing the proper maintenance, be sure
to have a current (post-2002 version using updated definitions)
antivirus installed. Continue cleaning up by removing spyware with
Spybot Search & Destroy (www.safer-networking.org) and Ad-aware
(www.lavasoftusa.com). These programs are free, so use them both since
they complement each other. Be sure to update these programs before
running, and it is a good idea to do virus/spyware scans in Safe Mode.
