Body of email missing

Bob Ianson

A problem started last night, where my incoming email has no text in the
body of the email. Addresses and Subjects are there, but no text.

I am running Outlook 2003 and Office 2000 and have been getting an error
message "The extension configuration file "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Addins\fldpub.ecf" could not be installed.
There is an error in the syntax or format of the file."

One other thing...if I right click my Outlook Taskbar and then click
Customize, I am prompted to insert my Office disk #1 (not Outlook 2003) I
receive another error message and am prompted to send a large file to
Microsoft.

Any thoughts?

FldPub.ECF is the addin for NetFolders which doesn't exist in OL2003. They
died a deserved death after OL2000 since they didn't work reliably.

There's info here about getting rid of that message:

Not sure why editing the toolbar would cause Office 2000 to attempt a
component install.
