The desktop wallpaper changes on completion of loading to
a bitmap named 'Mgxwp'. This bmp can't be found anywhere
on the system & if you change the wallpaper to another
available bmp the 'Mgxwp' will disappear from the
available list until the next time you boot the system,
when the procedure is repeated.
 
Start, run, type in: msconfig, hit enter.
Startup tab.
Look for anything that is starting with that name or similar that is loading
that wallpaper, and uncheck it box.
