My vision is fine, but something's wrong with my computer settings. When
surfing the net, all the pictures/graphics are fuzzy. What's up with this?

Are you using a web accelerator service? Many accelerator services cache
popular web pages locally (at the ISP end), then compress the images (ie strip
out detail) so they download faster. You'll get pages loading faster, but the
graphics will suck, like what you're seeing.

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

Thank you, Chuck. I AM running an accelerator. I disabled it, and the
pictures look normal again. I appreciate the help.

Kewl. Thanks for the update.

You don't get something for nothing. :-(

To disable the accelerator is that something you do on your computer or does
that mean I have to cancel my high speed internet and go with regular dial up
or try cable internet?? What do I need to do? I am a new computer user and
don't have a clue.

how did you disable your accelorator

It is a service you bought from your ISP. Go to their technical support, or billing, and get it
turned off.
