Hi John,

I have a home network also but I do not use Blueyonder. However, I'm sure
the ISP shouldn't matter. Make sure you have a least one file or folder
shared on both computers and then reboot both. Also, disable the firewall
in Windows XP on both. If you're connecting through a router, that should
protect you enough although most suggest a software firewall as well. If
you use a software, make sure you configure it on both computers.

Let us know.

Hi Newtechie
Thanks for the advice, but not sure if i liike the idea of swtching of my
firewall, as it would expose my PC to worms etc, which I have already had the
pleasure "NOT" so I need to ask you for further advce on that.
Cheers

Hi John,

I'm not saying to switch or get rid of your firewall. What you can do is
temporarily disable it and unplug your ethernet connection, then make the
adjustments I forementioned. I think you'd be safe that way. When you're
all done, re-enable and plug your internet connection back in. Don't forget
to reboot.
