Bluetooth puzzle

I'm having an odd problem with my Bluetooth USB adapter (It's a Comsol
BT-302). It took me a long time to get this thing working with Vista (Home
Premium), involving a lengthy and frustrating search for a compatible driver.
But once I did get it working, it worked well for 2-3 months. Not any more
though.

I plugged it in one day to find that although it is recognised quite happily
in the Device Manager (where it shows up as a WLink Bluetooth Device), it's
completely ignored by the Bluetooth Devices Control Panel applet. I've
unplugged it, re-plugged it in, plugged it in different USB ports,
disabled/re-enabled it, nothing seems to make a difference.

It's really frustrating as my only option for syncing my phone to my PC now
is a faulty nokia USB cable that has to be jiggled around every 5 minutes for
it to maintain the connection.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I don't have any suggestions, But I have a similar issue, where my Bluetooth
USB adapter works fine on my laptop with Vista Home Premium, installed the
adapter automatically. But on my main PC which also runs Vista Home Premium,
it says the adapter is not compatable with Vista and remains unrecognised and
usless.
