I'm really hoping someone can assist me pleeeease !!!
I have a Hp 6040a which I have upgraded from a Vista Home to Vista Ultimate.
Just like many other people I have been getting the bluescreen shutdown
problem randomly. Sometimes it won't happen for a few days, sometimes it will
have 6-7 times in one day..........I'm never sure when it's going to happen &
infact I can't be confident to do any work on this computer !!!!

I have read info. relating to other bluescreen issues and adopted the
advise with no positive outcome.

Details of the error messages are below..........please can somebody be kind
enough to assist me.

Thanks in advance

Pips

NEVER... EVER does an operating system "upgrade" work properly... NEVER. so
smarten up and stop trying. uninstall everything and install the new OS from
scratch

Go into system/advanced/startup and uncheck the automatically restart. Then
when you bluescreen you will have a valid error code and error message to
post back. Alternately you can search thru your mini-dump to find them.
They will help zero in on what the nature of your stop is.
