BlueScreen, No Stop

Hi, every time I boot my Dell Win2K Pro PC, I get a blue
screen with nothing on it, no stop, no nothing. From all
appearances, it seems the system is booting up, but no
icons appear and none of the keyboard functions work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am having a similar problem with my windows 2000 pro
pc. After I logon, my desktop does not appear - only a
plain background. I have not been able to fix this using
any of the suggestions on microsoft.com.
