Blue is the normal color Explorer uses for compressed files and folders. It
would appear that some of the files in that folder are compressed and some
are not.

You can control compression at either the file or folder level. Right click
an individual file (or the folder that is holding them -- one step up) and
pick Properties. Click the Advanced button. You'll see the options you want
right there.

Hi, Damien.

Blue usually indicates compressed files. Any chance that explains it in
your case?

Question on compressing those MP3 files. Since mp3 is actually a digital
compression, will XP's compression make them smaller? And will the XP
compression cause any problems when burning CDs?
