Here is what I know, my xp home edition laptop was
running fine, then I get the blue screen of death. I
then rebooted and the next time I got into windows, I
could no longer access my wireless router. To clairify,
it signal is being detected and it says connected at full
stength, but when I open Ie (or anything that accesses
the internet) it does not connect, as though not
connected. Still wierder, when I plug in my lan cable, I
get the same results, it is detected and it says I am
connected, but nothing works. To my knowledge, this is
the only noticed problem occuring since the crash.

A little more info if you could...
Are you using DHCP are assigned IP addresses?
Can you ping your router, either the LAN IP or the WAN IP?
If you are using DHCP, try going to a command prompt and
releasing the IP and renewing.
See if you can ping a domain name and if the IP resolves.
If you need to know the commands for these, post a reply
and I'll give them to you

I found the trouble file causing the blue screen and rid
my Laptop of it...but i'm still lacking of any
Connection..My pings to the router and the host computer
weren't successful and i'm not sure as of what i need to
do now. Any help if available to this situation will be
a much needed insight..Thanks.
