Blue screen problem

Hi,
I have an Asus A7N8X - E Deluxe M/B running an AMD Athlon XP 3000+
Processor with 256MB of DDR400 pc3200 memory. Every so often I get a
blue screen which says "" Driver - IRQL - Not - Less - or - Equel. And
something like physical memory dump completed. Could someone please
explain this to me.Thanks

I got this problem when I pushed the fsb too far up. My experiences were:

Ram couldn't remain stable at higher fsb (probably not the case for you
considering I have pc2100, and you have pc3200)

There is no pci lock, or your ratios have to be setup properly

Or the northbridge can't handle the extra throughput (most likely due to
heat)

Of course, this theory relies on if you are overclocking.

remember this??
You have one single sided stick and one double sided stick. Apart from the
chip layout they are identical. If you have trouble running both together
you will have to swap one of them so that they are both a perfect match.
IE, 2 x single sided or 2x double sided sticks...............by Venom

On the bottom of the blue screen it may display the device driver that
is causing it. A few years ago I went threw that hell, for me it was a
creative sound blaster driver. I ended up building a new AMD so I never
did try to fix it, I just assumed the card and VIA chipset didn't get
along.

hope you sort it out, I never had a single problem with my A7N8X.

I have the same setup and for me this problem was caused by a graphics
driver.

Thanks everyone for your help.Unfortunately this problem has been
overtaken by a more serious problem. When I boot up my comp from cold
it will just shut down. Sometimes during boot up, and sometimes having
been running for about three minuets. I have changed the M/B , memory
and processor but it continues to happen. I have also tested the PSU
and it seems OK ??. What makes it worse is that occasionally it will
boot up and run all day without any problems. Anyone got any ideas.
