Blue screen of death

Ok, this isn't my computer and I've no idea what kind of pain was afflicted
to Windows before it fell into my hands.

On startup, I get the blue screen of death and it reads:
'STOP: c0000221 {bad image Checksum}
The image ole32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match
the computed checksum.'

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Rachel.
