Blue Screen Of Death Problem.

XP Pro, DSL, 1GZ Intel, 256 Rambus.
While downloading from Limewire, the computer freezes and a blue screen
tells me:
Hardware malfunction
Call your hardware vendor for support
*** The system has halted***
What hardware? What vendor?
How do I determine where the conflict is?
Scanned for virus, defragged, regedit, etc, etc....

Try entering the BIOS from start-up,exit page,select,load set-up defaults
then save and exit.You can also tap the F8 key at start-up,select safe-mode
then try opening event viewer for details.

1) There should be a STOP error, what is it ? Something
like STOP 0X0080007x IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN . . .,
2) Go to Control Panel (Classic), Administrative Tools,
Event Viewer and look for a clue,
3) Check with Limewire . . .

Could you please post the Stop Code that accompanies the BSOD? With that
your problem could be isolated.
