Blue screen flashes for three seconds and computer restarts

Recently I recieved one of those "this program is not
responding things" and it had to do with windows. I wont
remember what it was but I reported the error. (this was
all after I downloaded the new yahell messenger) and now
a blue screen flashes for three seconds and the computer
completely restarts itself before I can read what the
screen says...
I uninstalled the messenger and reinstalled and havent
had the problem (yet, knock on wood)

Any ideas what this is and if it continues out to fix
it??? Please email me any help!

I would assume it's the Yahoo installation (that was what you meant by
"Yahell " wasn't it?).

In any event, go to Control Panel, open System, go to the Advanced tab,
click Settings under Startup and Recovery, under System Failure, remove the
check from "Automatically restart," click ok and reboot if asked to do so.

This will cause the system to blue screen instead of restart. You might
then be able to see the entire error. You might also check the event log
for errors. In Control Panel, go to Administrative Tools, open Event
Viewer, look for errors that correspond to when the event(s) happened,
double click, the information contained within may give a clue as to the
source.
