While running defrag I get a blue screen error
(paraphrased)"windows encountered a problem and has shut
down to prevent damage to your computer.

Driver IRQL not less_or_equal

IDEChnDr.sys address F999EOF8
Base at F999B000."

How can I fix this?

Hi,

This behavior occurs because the file system driver did
not place a reference count against a volume device
object, and the object was being deleted before the
current input/output (I/O) operation had completed.

To resolve the issue, installed latest Service Pack of XP

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=322389

If the issue still persists, contact your system
vendor/motherboard for unisntalling or updating your
motherboard driver.

Hope this help!

Bye
Raj
