BSOD Error Screen DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

I am using Windows XP Home Edition, Dell 4600, IE7. This screen comes up just
when I am "surfing" on traffic exchanges. It states that it is a Windows
error and must shut down before damage is done. The following is listed on
the screen:
(The message about the DRIVER IRQL, as listed above in the subject line)

In the instructions it says to "Disable BIOS Memory Options".

I couldn't copy the wording on the blue screen, so I can't state exactly
what it said, but it also had this: (0x0000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000,
0x00000000)

This blue screen has come up about five times in the last three weeks. It
just seems to happen when I am doing the surfing. I shut the computer off and
the reboot and everything goes back to normal. I am just worried that my hard
drive is going bad. I don't know alot about this, so sorry for any info I may
have left out. Thanks

Start out by running a RAM test

http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

also, go the website of your HD's mfg
then get and run their diagnostic
