Blue Screen - BAD_POOL_HEADER

D

Dan

Hello,

I was working on my computer, WIN XP SP2, fully updated, and suddenly a
Blue Screen came up that said:

BAD_POOL_HEADER.

After I restarted, the event viewer had this event:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was:
0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0x859ad000, 0x859ad5e8, 0x0abd0000). A dump was
saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini051706-01.dmp.

Also, as soon as I restarted, the Microsoft Antyswpyware told me that
it had allow an application change: un update from J2SE 5.0 Update 6.

Any idea what this problem is?
Are there any steps I have to take to correct them?

Thanks,
DT

Hi,

After the error mentioned before, I restarted the computer and kept
working.
I restarted one more time to make sure everything is OK and a windows
telling me a serious error has occured showep up.
The info on the window said:
BCCode : 19 BCP1 : 00000020 BCP2 : 859AD000 BCP3 : 859AD5E8

BCP4 : 0ABD0000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

And in the event viewer had this event registered:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: System Error
Event Category: (102)
Event ID: 1003
Date: 5/17/2006
Time: 8:01:39 AM
User: N/A

Description:
Error code 00000019, parameter1 00000020, parameter2 859ad000,
parameter3 859ad5e8, parameter4 0abd0000.

This looks like the same error...
I didnt change anything on the computer, HW nor SW.
