Blue screen after logoff

When I log off W2K server through Terminal Server client, I often get a blue
screen that stays for a long time. If I close the blue screen manually, I
can't log on to the server without restarting my PC. Why is that and anyway
to fix it? Thanks.

Some process is not ending in the session. I had this
happen with a virus checker running on the server.
