blue coloration on side of windows

Hi,
I recently upgraded from XP to vista and am experiencing a slight blue line
on the side of all of my winows (in Aero). I tried to play around with the
window settings and have not been able to get rid of this coloration. If
anyone experiences this or has any idea what causes this problem I would
greatly appreciate any help. Thanks

If you are referring to the thin light blue line around the active window
border, that is normal.

Right click an empty area on the Desktop and select Personalize. Select
Window Color and Appearance/Advanced Button. Under the Item drop down menu,
select Border Padding and set the Size to Zero. Apply/OK. You cannot
'completely' get rid of the blue border, but this will make it much less
noticeable.
