Allow me to add, as I had the same situation before.
The so-called " block " is misleading.
You will still receive the unwanted e-mail, except that it is downloaded to
your Junk Mail folder.
Each time a ' block ' e-mail is received, you'll get a notification when you
open Windows Mail.
You'll need to click on Junk Mail folder and " empty " the content.
Your ' unwanted ' sender will never know you have his/her e-mails blocked.
Another option is to create a message rule. Do you know how to create
message rules? Please be careful if you do this, since a simple mistake can
cause you to lose important messages.
You can create a message rule to delete the message; I am not sure what
exactly would happen, but I assume the message would be downloaded but then
it would be automatically deleted. You can create a message rule to delete
the message from the server, so it won't even be downloaded. In either case,
the sender won't know you did not get the message.
To block all messages from any sender whose domain name (the portion of the
e‑mail address after the @) is the same as the sender's, click Add Sender's
Domain (@example.com) to Blocked Senders List.
Unfortanetly the sender will see the emails are blocked, but just say it was
done automatically by your server
