how I block a .dll query. when I start a dos based program, windows is ask a
question for a .dll. I don't install its (dll's) program because i have not
got it.

thanks....

Could use specific information. Are you saying that when you start a dos
based program (in a DOS box, I am assuming), W2K is telling you that you are
missing a specific .dll?

DLLs are files containing executable code that can be shared by several
programs. If a program is saying it needs a certain .dll, you must find and
install that .dll. No way around it. It needs the executable code in that
..dll in order to run.
