Hi,
I have created a form using Word 2000. My form has 7 pages, lots of tables,
frames, radio buttons, check boxes, text form fields and so on...
Before it took about 30 seconds to open the form...I have looked for an
answer in this forum and I found out that saving as a .dot and attaching the
normal template it could be faster. And great, now it takes only 10 seconds.
My question is: Could this document open faster (inserting a code for
example) or is it not possible because the ActiveX Controls bloat the
document ? In this case I would like to know why this happens. Does it make
difference if I use only frames or tables and don't mix them up ? Or even if
I use, for example, only a big table per page ? How could I create the
document in order to allow it to open fast ?? (I can't use UserForm).
I have already tried "detect and repair" and it didn't work. Maybe I have a
problem concerning "template corruption" .But I have read lots of documents
concerning "Problems opening word" and I couldn't fix the problem.
Thank you a lot for your help!!
