Blazefind IE removal

I am getting real sick of these bastards.

While looking for song lyrics, of all things, I got this Blazefind toolbar
installed. My fault really, as my IE settings were too permissive.

Anyway, I got the toolbar removed relatively painlessly, with Adaware or
Spybot, I forget which. My problem now is that when I use the search icon
on the IE toolbar, it goes to blazefind.com.. It will also, very
occasionally, hijack a popup and stick a blazefind search window there
instead. For example, accessing my work email from home will spawn the
messages in separate browser windows. Now, about 1 in 20 times, instead of
my email message I get a blazefind window.

I have tried every method of removal I can think of, and nothing has worked.
Spybot and Adaware give me a clean bill of health, and they have the latest
updates. Hijackthis and CWShredder dont show anything. I have searched and
removed various components, browserhelper, key2.txt, etc. etc. Nothing
works. If I go to Tools>Internet Options>Programs and click Reset Web
Settings, that works on that particular window. But, closing the browser
and reopening it has the search button again linked to a blazefind URL.

What can I do?

Thanks

Set the URL to About:blank in IE browser, click Apply and OK.

Hmm. Its not my home page that is the problem, its the search button URL.
I dont even see a place to set the search button URL manually, but like I
said, the reset web settings button fixes it, that is retores it back to MSN
or whatever the default was. But the next time I open a browser, its back
to blazefind.

You know it turns out that I had this other thing installed, Wind Update,
that was more spyware from Blazefind. Cocksuckers.
