I was hit with the Blaster virus and I am unable to get XP
to boot. I get a brief screen saying something about my
hard drive needs to be checked but that flashes too quick
to read. then I get the b&w screen of "sorry for the
incovience" would you like to boot in safe mode..... None
of those work. I've tried to reinstall the OS but it
wants me to delete the partition which i do not want to do.

The recovery option wants an administrators password which
i never had. Is there a way around that?

Also when I boot from a floppy, C: is not a valid drive.
Does this mean my C: is hosed?

Thanks.
