Blank Unusable Desktop after login XP Home

Matt

Hey all,

I've got a strange problem that just started when I turned
on my computer this morning. After the initial login
screen for XP (after the "loading personal settings"
message comes up) I get a blank desktop with no icons or
taskbar. I can't right click on the desktop. The only
option is ctrl-alt-del. In the task manager it identifies
me as userid:0, which isn't my login ID. Don't know what
caused this or what I can do. Can anyone be of any help?

Thanks,
Matt
