Blank Screen at Startup

Once my computer gets through loading windows it goes to black screen. Is
there a way to fix this and/or a way to save my data in safe mode?

Please help!!! :)

Hi SW,
So you look sure that your HDD going the wrong direction or you guessing, do
you hear it spining as a sign of life or not?.
Unplug all extra Hardware from your Computer and start in Safe Mode, there
Right Click My Computer on your Desktop or on the Start Button and select
properties on Hardware Tab click on Device Manager and see if there is any
RED Croses/Plus on your Hardwares.
You may have Video Card gone bad or going to be, if you installed new Badly
written Programs can Produce this behavior or Overheating CPU in this Hot
Days we have this time of year!.
