blank screen after logon

After I logon to my DC in win 2k adv srver, I see
briefly, applying your personal settings, and the screen
goes blank. The desktop color changes but that's it. I
press ctrl, alt, del, I click task manager. I click on
file so I can type explorer to see it that helps, i get
the hour glass and the dialog box disappears. I also
cannot stop any process. I receive access is denied.
I can map to the dc's drive but I don't get to the
desktop or the taskbar. I can't even get into the DC
using terminal server from another computer.

Any help will be appreciated.

hello,
this may be due to the security pemissions problem. if
change any security permissions recently then what i
suggest is remove the hard disk in the server and connect
that hard disk as a slave to any other system as a slave
and check the security pemissions on all drives. be sure
that you have given full control permission for "SYSTEM"
and domain admins.
