Blank screen after a RemoteDesktop Session

I have a WLAN between my laptop and my pc. I find very useful the Remote Desktop utility, to connect remotely to my laptop and work on it using the LCD and the keyboard of my fixed pc. But I have a big problem

If the flip of the laptop is closed when I connect, after the disconnection, if I open the flip the screen still remain blank...no key, or mouse click can do something against. I tryed everything...CRT/LCD key, SUSPEND key...I disabled also all the power save settings of WinXP, but the problem still remain

Do you know a workaround for it?!

Does it do this if you aren't connected in a RD session.?
