Blank PowerPoint attachments

Office 2003. A couple PPT attachments from Outlook show up as empty
presentations. So far only two of them have shown up like this. Everyone else
who has received the e-mail was able to view the file.
Anything easy I'm missing?
Tried saving to the desktop then opening, to no avail.

Start up PowerPoint, go to the Help menu and choose Check for Updates.
Follow the instructions to apply all service packs. Holler back if that
doesn't help.
