Blank pages HP IIP+

Please dont laugh because I want to fix such an old printer. My IIP+
now prints only blank pages, regardless of the application, and even
the self-test pages are blank. I tried a new cartridge, no change.
Paper feed is fine, fuser assembly gets hot, the internal light is on
at intervals. Can anyone give me any guidance here about what to do

(on the left when you remove the toner cartridge)

Koen, Thanks. HV contacts look good. Also, I checked the drum at
mid-page, and there is no toner/image on it. What should I do or
