Blank Page with IE from Address Bar - XP Home/IE6

When I click on a website address in the address bar IE
opens with a blank page.

Also, when I type in an address in the address bar and
press return I get an message saying IE cannot find this
site.... recheck address.

I have tried everything suggested in the MS KB articles.

Any help is appreciated

Have you tried to add http:// to your URL?


If the error message you quoted is correct then I would check for some
parasites.

Delete all the spywares and bad BHOs from your system.
