Blank Backgrounds

Hi Group

I have a brand new laptop, that occasionally omits the background image in
slideshow.

It has an ATI Radeon X1400 graphics card and 512 MB dedicated graphics
memory with dual core prcessors 1.6 MHz each.

Any thoughts? Using the hardware acceleration check box makes no
difference.
