black titlebar and buttons

Hi !
Earlier i tried to install the 835732 security update,but
the titlebar(and buttons) turn black?(after the update).
Only when hoovering the mouse over them, the color
returns ?
Because of this i haven't implemented this "fix",
and are running my computer without it.
Now however, i have a stubborn w32korgo virus that tries
to re-infect my computer almost daily,so i guess i have to
install this update somehow....
What's strange is that this problem is only visible on the
Windows XP style and buttons,not on the classic style ?
What can i do to remedy this problem,i really don't like
the classic style ?
And ps,don't suggest to download the sp2 pack,i'm on dial-
up.
