I may be a little slow, as the closest I have to a garden is a cactus on my window ledge... but is the red plant not the same variety as the yellow one?

You can tell I'm cultured about these things

Red ones are probably a cross between the common cowslip (primula vulgaris, yellow) and one of the red/purple primulae, probably primula farinosa, which grow in Northern England. :)

Black Sheep is a popular beer around these parts. :D
