black screen after xp loads

Hi,

My computer goes to a black screen after I seen the XP
loading screen. I'm not able to log in and enter my
computer. Any Solutions?

Try pressing F8 as the computer starts (right before XP boot screen) and you
should see a menu. Try VGA mode, or if its not there try safe mode and once
booted reset the resolution and whatnot in the display control panel.

I have tried that though, and the problem persists. The
only modes I can startup into seem to be safe modes.
