I have been having problems with XP shutting down for apparently no reason. I
thought it might be my praphics card so I disabled it and enabled the
graphics capability on the motherboard. After this I saw the desktop but
could not see any tool bars or the start button to make any changes. I then
went into setup to try and switch back to the other graphics card. Now the
screen in black and I cannot get into setup. I have tried F10, F2, esc,
etc., but nothing seems to work.
I found a web site with a fix for my nVidia/XP SP2 problems, but need to be
able to see the screen in order to fix it.
Thanks for the help in advance!

From a cold boot, check that the bios setup allows the POST
screens to be shown on the monitor. Right after the beep for
loading the OS, use the F8 key to enter the Windows boot menu.
Choose safe mode, enter and continue. If Windows start, change
the display settings to use the graphics card or whatever and
make sure that the size, resolution and refresh rates are those
for the monitor.
