Black Monitor

When I select a clip on the Contents pane, then I click "play" on the
monitor, I see the video playing. But if I put this clip on the Timeline and
I select it in the timeline and click "play", the monitor stays black and I
only hear the sound of the video clip. But I can see playing on the Monitor
the same clip on the Contents pane.Then if I save my project and restart my
PC, I can see the same video clip on the timeline playing well in the Monitor.
Can you help ?

I read all the thread.
So shoiuld I type : regsvr32 quartz.dll ?
or is quartz.dll a codec specific to Panasonic ?
I have a Samsung software.

I just typed "regsvr32 quartz.dll" then I added a video clip in the timeline
and it worked. I hope it will stay like that.
So what is quartz.dll ?

I added a video transition and 2 titles and the problem came back...
I'm going to reinstall Windows Movie Maker.
Another idea ?
