Bizarre Behavior

Here's the scenario:

After a few minutes of inactivity, I am unable to browse
to any http sites. Https works, ftp works, ssh works,
email works, MS Messenger works, I can resolve DNS, and I
can ping like crazy, but absolutely nothing over port 80.
Also, I'm hosting a little website on the computer, which
doesn't seem to be affected. There is a firewall up, but
no other computer on the network is experiencing the same
problem.

I have tried shutting down DNS Client and IIS, I've run
AdAware and SpyBot, as well as Hijack This, LSPfix, and
WisockFix, with no results.

Any thoughts?

kinda sounds like a drive by trojan, i guess you'v looked
the control panel and windows explorer for new things.
you could try one of these, tauscan, tds-3,the cleaner,
or try some on line scans. how about a virus scan?
