bit torrent files saved as web link when saved as target
not as bit torrent file http can some one help
So when you hover the mouse over the link, or by viewing the source code
for the HTML web page, is the link to the actual file or is it to a web
page (that might use meta-refresh) or to a script/program that then
gives you the file? What IS the link? It might not be a link to a
file, especially when using bit torrent since the idea is that you don't
just retrieve from that site but balance load the download from multiple
source hosts (so bit torrent has to go out to them to possibly retrieve
pieces of the file from multiple hosts). I haven't used peer-to-peer
file serving programs, like bit torrent, but I also know that the link
you right-click on and choose Save Target As must actually be a link to
a file instead of a web page or script.
If it is a link to a script/program for bit torrent, you'll have to
click on the link (i.e., you cannot right-click and use Save Target As).
