Replace the CMOS battery which can be found on the motherboard. Check the
documentation supplied with your PC for instructions on the location of the
battery and how to replace it. If your documentation does not include any
information for replacing the CMOS battery, go to the PC manufacturers
support site for the documentation and/or instructions to replace the CMOS
battery in your exact/specific make/model PC.
Almost all modern desktop PC's use a lithium battery approximately the
size of a nickle and are easy to replace. If you need further assistance in
replacing the CMOS battery please provide us with the PCs
Manufacturer/Make/Model.
Manufacturer - Dell, Emachine, HP, Gateway, etc.
Make - Dimension, Pavilion, etc.
Model/Series - 9200C, 7125, etc.
Example: Dell Dimension 9100C, HP Pavilion 7125
