I'm installing WIN XP Pro on a P3 computer with a clean hard drive
installation.
I have the six winxp boot disk to install my XP.
I keep receiving this message upon the resding of the first disk:

File/bios.inf could not be loaded. The error code is 529.
Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.

Can anyone be of any great assistance? Thanks.

Perhaps the boot disk is faulty, have you tried creating another one.

You don't boot to the floppy disks to install XP. Boot to CD.

I don't understand why you are using the floppies to do a clean install.
Is your computer incapable of booting from the cd drive? The XP cd is
bootable.
