Binary BLOB on LDP , How to insert correctly attributes in AD

Hi,
Some months ago we created all the users in our Active Directory (thru
scripting), now we are creating some routines to interface AD with our RH
application in order to insert new users into AD with the correct
information, to replicate the correct e-mail addresses into HR and to flag
users that had leaved the company in active directory.
We are doing all this interface by creating ldf files , importing to and
experting from AD.

My question is this!
When i exported all my users into a ldf file , some fields like
'description' and even 'dn' had strange character that had no sense but in
the "Users and Computers" all appears ok !
I used ldp.exe to view the attributes and it does not show the contents only
<blob>.
One detail, my users are portuguese and their names have special characters
, and OU names aswell.

My question is this : Can this impact AD in any way ??
Why in ldp.exe or ldifde.exe export files the content of the atrributes is
strange characters ?, how can i correct this ??

It seams that if I insert the users by hand in "Users and Computers" even
with special characters the contents in lpd and ldifde exports are showed
correctly ??

Best Regards,
Thanks in advance !
