Bill Sanderson? about acrobat reader 6.0

i uninstall acrobat reader 6.0 and it left behind files
can i delete it manually or can i just install the new
version over those old files that were left behind
because i heard that you can just install it over and it
will delete those old files
 
I've done this (uninstalled 6.x and installed 7) on a few dozen machines
without ever looking to see whether there were things left behind. I'd go
ahead with the 7.0 install and not worry about it.

Bill mainly for your info but maybe useful to Ricky, if you install Reader 7
it automatically uninstalls 6

Should have tested that earlier. I've been uninstalling 6.03, then 6.02,
then 6.xx!
