On a friends computer that I am trying to fix I encounter
a strange problem. Any windows in windows explorer will
not open. For example, my computer or anything that uses
an explorer window of that nature. I've tried internet
explorer and found out that wouldn't work when I tried to
access my files using that. When I try to open a window,
the desktop background covers the entire screen and then
explorer seems to restart, and when it does the
background will display a message asking me if I wish to
restore my active desktop.
Is this a problem that I can fix or will I need to wipe
the drive?
