big file transfert from disk to disk

When I want to transfert a big file (5 Go), from disk to
disk I have 80 Go on the second disk, I get an error
message: Not enough disk space???
Also on a external disk (Archos Qdisk)... THANKS FOR

Is the second drive formatted as FAT 32? That has an absol;ute limit of
4GB (less a tad) for any file - you must use NTFS for bigger files
