Second hoop: WGA

I know what your TRYING to say but it's all BS. This was not a hoop that I

Third hoop, being as you're using Vista: SPP

I know what your TRYING to say but it's all BS. This was not a hoop that I

Fourth hoop, again, being as you're using Vista: DRM.

Have a nice day MS hoop jumper.

What hoop? I turn on my machine and it works. I'm able to do anything I

Not really sure about how SPP works. Can you enlighten me?

I use linux server for application servers/appliances. I am an avid
linux desktop hater. Every time I try to give linux desktop an honest
go I become greatly disappointed in it. If fails me every time.

I don't believe you use a Linux server package for application servers and
appliances.

As _everyone_ knows, because you told us just yesterday, "The cost to
run/manage linux is MUCH MUCH MUCH more expensive."

How you can successfully run Linux servers and NOT a desktop Linux is far
beyond comprehension, akin to being able to configure and manage MS servers
and not be able to use XP/98/Win2K Pro.

You're an idiot and you prove time and time again that you simply do NOT
understand what you read.

That conversation was about linux DESKTOP.

You do know the difference between a workstation and a server right?
Actually, I don't think you do. I think you know squat seeing as how you
tried to pawn off a THIN CLIENT article as a DESKTOP article.

How about you just give up?
How you can successfully run Linux servers and NOT a desktop Linux

Oh, so you did pickup on the desktop part. That doesn't explain your
nonsense above. So you really can't figure this out? Are you serious? A
handleful of servers versus over 300 windows desktops. ???? Are you really
this stupid?

The servers we have that run linux, do so for very specific reasons. Some,
we had no choice. They simply come that way. We're able to weight the good
and bad and in server level environments linux shines in a couple areas.
You're just going to have to deal with that theory.

No I didn't. 100% seamless. I never had to do anything. Many applications
need to be activated. Yet you only cry about MS. Hum....
You've had to prove your copy of Vista is genuine.

Wrong again! It’s called installation and registration. No different then
plugging in a serial# and it checking the internet that it’s valid. Only
thieving pieces of crap need to worry about it. Which leads us to wonder
why you worry about it???????
Not really sure about how SPP works. Can you enlighten me?

Why the hell would I do that? Change your headers and your name and ask.
However it's good to know that ATTEMPT to discuss things of which you know
nothing about. Good one!

Try burning a CD and then emailing the MP3 to a friend.

That doesn't make any sense. You want me to burn an MP3 to a CD then do
what with the CD? Then go back to the MP3 and email it?

Or did you want me to burn the MP3 to a CD then turn around and make an MP3
from the new CD?

I can tell you right now that I can do all of that. I've burned many CDs as
I travel often and I have no problem emailing anyone anything.

Sure. Change your NIC three times and see what happens.

Change the physical NIC? Swap out the card with something else?

1. All my NICs are built-in it so that's not even possible.

2. Why the hell would anyone do that? You buy such cheap crap that it
breaks on you that often?

akin to able and not able? Confused aren't you?

No you are confused and obviously didn't comprehend the use of the word
akin in the FULL sentence, that you improperly snipped....(again)...

"How you can successfully run Linux servers and NOT a desktop Linux is
far beyond comprehension, akin to being able to configure and manage MS
servers and not be able to use XP/98/Win2K Pro."

It was an improper snip because the entire context of the sentence is
unclear without seeing the first part before the comma.

The use of 'akin' above is to show a relation between the first part of
the sentence and the second part., which, when viewed in full, can be
completely understood by 99% of 5th graders.

(Of course now when you ask me where I came up with my 99% number, I'll
just have to say that 'I just pulled it out of my Justin !')

No I don't. That conversation was about DESKTOPS, you simply screwed up and
addressed the wrong thing. Again, much like the thin client goof up.

More misunderstanding on your part. Who told you I can not run "A" linux
desktop? Which conversation are you addressing? You cross thread often
which creates most of your BS. If you're going back to which costs LESS to
run then what does that have to do with getting something to work?

No theory, it's a fact, and you have found that Linux does shine in some
areas. As MS may shine in certain areas as well.

See, this is where you get all confused. Linux SERVER. You cry above about
not being exact in each post then you continue to generalize yourself? You
wonder why I call you an idiot?

I can assure you that if I had to run 300+ servers, the good would not out
weigh the bad as it would be cheaper to then run Windows. Learn to keep
things in context.
No you are confused and obviously didn't comprehend the use of the word
akin in the FULL sentence, that you improperly snipped....(again)...

then I do right now about this particular comment.
It was an improper snip because the entire context of the sentence is

"I use linux server for application servers/appliances. I am an avid

No, that is NOT what that means. It means exactly what it says.
Disappointed and fails me. By your dumb logic just because a KIA Rio

The desktop RAN fine but linux still failed me. Will you be able to figure
that out?

FYI, a search on that link in gg takes me to your last post. Maybe some day
you'll learn how to link info:

http://groups.google.com/groups/[email protected]

It makes no difference that you said this in a different part of THIS
thread. If you said it, you said it.

Well, read above I already threw your BS out the window.

Of which you have no proof anyway, or have provided no proof.

Whose ROI do you want? I don't need to provide proof. It's all around you.
It's the reason most business do not implement linux to begin with. Or do
you want us to believe that most business are comprised of idiots? That
they perform no ROI research and have all f'ed up? Take your pick and
that's the one I'll laugh at.
You ask for proof of what I say, but show none yourself for your claims.

Again, read above.

NO! You fail. If you don't get it by now then you just wont get it.
No, it was absolutely snipped. How can you say that when it's out there

Oh really? Then how do you explain the post that specifically addressed AND
QUOTED what you THOUGHT was snipped? You are pathetic. For everyone's
amusement:

But then looky here. Here's the post he claimed I snipped it:

OH MY!! what it that we see? The exact text he claimed I snipped. You'll
also note that I COMMENTED ON IT.

The plain simple fact isn't that you couldn't care less, the simple fact

Keep telling yourself that.
