Better solution: NVIDIA Personal Cinema or GeForce card + Hauppauge?

Dan

I am going to build a new system next month. I want to add the ability to
record TV shows and burn them to DVD to watch in my standalone DVD player.
I am torn between an nVidia Personal Cinema card as a one card solution, or
a GeForce card and the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150. The motherboard in the new
system will have 5 PCI slots, so a lack of PCI slots will not be an issue.
I am not interested in any ATI products, by the way. I would be open to
any other TV Tuner cards that might work well for a PVR solution.

Thanks!

I would go with the two card solution unless you're saving a good bit of
money. It's nice to be able to hold onto your capture features should you
decide you want to upgrade your graphics card in the future for other
reasons.
