Beta running amuk

In our enviroment, people are downloading the beta and
installing it on production workstations. This, of
course, is causing many headaches.

What we really need from Microsoft is 1 or more of the
following:

1. A way to deny installation
2. A way to disable the program if installed
3. A GPO we can apply so that at least we can set some
defaults.

Can we expect anything?

Your problem goes far beyond Beta.
You need to control what they download.
What else are they downloading that may be detrimental to the workstations
and the network?

If you are having problems with other users installing MS
antispyware then you should restrict the user from being
able to install software in the first place
