Hi Guys

We are a small software development company in Australia ( OZ ) & we have
just installed our 1st Windows R2 2003 server with AD/DNS configured as we
need to develop software to integrate with AD.

When we access resources locally the server is very quick, this is a new
computer with 2gb RAM & 160gb hard disk which has less than 10gbs of disk
space used.

We have searched the forums & the web to help solve a problem when we access
this new server via the LAN. It responds very slowly !!!!

One entry we found

http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...6-ba1a8875c1a7&lang=en&cr=&sloc=en-us&m=1&p=1

seems to have an identical issue.

We tried to issue the commands
netsh interface tcp set global rss=disabled
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

Both of these gave us a syntax error :(

We tried the registry updates

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

EnableRSS was present & set to 0

DisableTaskOffload was not present & we set to to 1 & rebooted

We cannot find anything that has helped does anyone know of anything else we
can try ?
